Mini-Grant Application Assistance

Decide on a curb appeal home improvement project and/or community building event.

Investigate what you need to complete the project

Get a quote from a licensed contractor or store

Check out the costs of all items and services needed

Complete the budget form with the info

Scan or take a picture of your photo ID and proof of residency document

Take “before” pictures of the curb appeal project and/or schedule an appointment to have the designated photographer take the pictures for you.


Issues to be resolved

BHCDF will support residents with City related project issues

Spanish materials and website will be provided

If you are a renter, consider applying for community building event grant

Volunteers will be provided to work 1:1 with residents needing help with the Mini-Grant process and forms

Include cleanup costs and hazardous waste removal in the budget

Check if the project requires a City permit and include the permit cost in the budget

Contact PG&E to verify location of gas lines or to move power lines (Call 811)

Notify BHCDF when you need assistance with your final report
