The City of Menlo Park is partnering with the Belle Haven Community Development Fund to help Belle Haven renters access cleaner and safer portable home appliances.
The program provides no cost electrification bundles that may include items such as:
Portable heat pump
Portable induction cooktop with cookware
Countertop electric oven
Solar powered battery unit
Heated blanket
Air purifier
Program Qualifications
Reside in the Belle Haven neighborhood.
Be a renter of single-family or multi-family property.
Be at or below 120% of the San Mateo County area median income for household size or be 65 years of age or older.

Submit your application: Complete the initial form to begin the process.
Request assistance: Contact BHCDF staff if you need help navigating the application.
Staff review: BHCDF will review your submission for eligibility.
Informational interview: Participate in a follow-up interview to discuss your needs and the program details.
Receive notification: You will be notified via email or phone if you have been awarded an electrification bundle.
Home assessment: Staff will visit your home to inspect the kitchen, living, and dining rooms, check electrical outlets, and provide specific recommendations.
Sign the agreement: Attend a mandatory meeting to sign the program agreement and finalize your participation.
Coordinate delivery: Prepare your home and schedule a time for equipment delivery and setup.
HVAC installation: Schedule and complete the installation of your A/C and heating unit (this is handled separately from the bundle delivery).
Verify receipt: Confirm that all items and services have been received and are in working order.
